Job description

Do you want to learn new skills whilst improving young people’s lives and support the community? If YES then would you like to kick-start your career in youth work? Are you keen to get practical experience at the same time as getting a qualification? Our Youth Work Apprentice might be just the job for you!

Working within the Youth Ambition Team, the apprentice will be supported to develop the skills, knowledge and capabilities to plan, organise and deliver a range of activities, projects and support services for young people. Youth Ambition deliver activities and services for young people aged 11-19 on Oxford’s regeneration areas, including Youth Clubs, Multi-sports sessions, Community projects, events and grants for external organisations.

We are looking for an apprentice who:

Has the ability to build relationships with children and young people
Is keen to contribute to our local community and the success of our team and service
Is willing to challenge negative behaviour in a positive and proactive way.
Is enthusiastic, ambitious and wants to learn new skills
