The roleOxford City Council has an exciting opportunity for someone to join their Options Team as an apprentice in support of ‘growing our own’.
Playing an important part of the team the apprentice will be supported in developing a range of skills and completing Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship to help develop the breadth and knowledge required to apply a professional administrative approach to business and achieve highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours.
Working with an innovative and professional team there will be an opportunity to learn about housing and homelessness and engage with different internal and external partners to develop excellent customer service skills.
We are looking for an apprentice who is:
The TrainingThe apprenticeship will guide you through both on-the-job and academic taught skills to enable you not only understand, but develop your skills as Homelessness Prevention officer. You will be assigned a manager and a mentor who will support you throughout your apprenticeship. They will ensure you gain the right experience and skills, whilst working towards your Level 3 Business Administration qualification through Abingdon and Witney college.
