Are you excited about the opportunity to play a key part in the decarbonisation of heat in the City of Oxford, if yes then this role is for you!
Through delivery of a BEIS funded project with partners including Samsung, Oxford Brooks University and University of Oxford you will work with our local community to install heat pumps in homes. You will be the local face of the project, a key source of information and support for participants and you will oversee the customer journey for each household installing a heat pump through the project.
This new exciting role provides a great opportunity for someone with excellent engagement skills, who is excited about leading the way in combatting climate change. You will need an open and approachable attitude, be organised, ability to stand-alone and have experience in supporting project delivery.
This specific project is based in the Rose Hill area of Oxford. The successful applicant will be expected to spend a significant amount of their time in the area, working with the local community. Therefore, ideally, applicants should live within a short commuting distance to the project site and have an interest in local issues and priorities.
Note this role is conditional on Clean Heat Streets being awarded funding for Heat Pump Ready Phase 2. Given the pace at which delivery starts from February 2023, we are advertising the role now.For an informal discussion about the post please contact Rose Dickinson on 01865 252994 or email rdickinson@oxford.gov.uk
